Procurement Specialist

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for developing procurement strategies that meet project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders to understand needs and develop procurement plans.

You will also be responsible for conducting market research, identifying potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities, and negotiating favorable terms.

A key aspect of this role is managing the procurement process, including issuing requests for proposals (RFPs), evaluating bids, and selecting vendors.

To ensure compliance, you will need to ensure that procurement activities adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Additionally, you will lead a team of buyers, providing guidance and coaching to team members as needed.

Lastly, you will generate reports and performance metrics to assess procurement effectiveness and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
