Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Risk Engineer to join our team. This role involves conducting desktop risk assessment reviews for Large Corporate clients, supporting Construction Underwriter functions and the Global Engineering Network, and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Support underwriters in their technical risk reviews and provide expert recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement loss control strategies to minimize risks and maximize benefits.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to remain competitive.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience as a Civil/Structural Engineer.
  • Proven expertise in engineering, construction, and project/site management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and data analysis software, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision making.
