Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Department: Network Digitization

Industry Preferable - Telecommunication only

Experience - 3 to 6 Years

Location - Gurugram (WFO)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our software products.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements and product specifications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Identify, document, and report defects using an issue tracking system.
  • Provide detailed defect descriptions and steps to reproduce for the development team.
  • Re-test fixed defects to confirm resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
  • Maintain and update test cases, test scripts, and test documentation to ensure proper tracking of testing efforts.
  • Prepare regular test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress and outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in manual and automation testing, ideally more than 3 years in a similar QA role.
  • Experience with testing web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in writing detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and different testing methodologies.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools and hands-on knowledge of Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with basic SQL queries to validate database and data consistency.
