Job Summary

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior WAN / Cisco Firewall Engineer located in Hyderabad, India. The Senior WAN / Cisco Firewall Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing WAN and Cisco firewall solutions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Designing, implementing, and managing WAN and Cisco firewall solutions
  • Troubleshooting network issues
  • Configuring Cisco devices
  • Securing network infrastructure
  • Optimizing network performance
  • Coordinating with team members to ensure the smooth operation of network systems
  • Providing technical support to clients when necessary

Requirements
  • Experience with WAN implementation and management
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco firewall devices
  • Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
  • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN/MAN buildouts
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP are highly desirable
  • Experience in IT facilities management and technical support is beneficial
