We are seeking a skilled Risk Engineer to conduct risk assessments, insurance-related site surveys, and reviews of projects for clients and prospects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting fire and life safety assessments, as well as Health and Safety assessments. They will be responsible for accurately quantifying exposures at client locations, including damage to physical property and business impact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting risk assessments and providing recommendations to clients
  • Evaluating in-house loss prevention procedures to ensure they are maintained
  • Obtaining client understanding and agreement on discovered hazards/exposures and their potential business impact
  • Supporting the broking team in placing risks in domestic/international insurance markets
  • Designing and managing training programs for clients

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with local market and market needs, knowledge of local safety standards, NBC, IS standards, and international standards like OHSAS, NFPA preferred
  • Basic knowledge of safety-related products like Health & Safety, Property Loss Prevention, Business Continuity Management, and Environmental would be a plus
  • Good communication skills with the ability to understand clients' requirements and match with Client services
  • IT literacy, including general office systems such as Word, Excel, Power Point (or similar)
  • Enhanced written and verbal communication skills, including report writing required
  • Efficient time management ability with minimal supervision

Preferred qualifications include an engineer B.E. or B-Tech (mechanical/electrical/chemical) with work experience.

Travel is required, approximately 60-80 days per year.
