Job Title: Portfolio Investment Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced investment professional to join our team as a Portfolio Investment Specialist. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to leverage their analytical skills and experience in financial modeling to drive investment success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of research and analysis, with the ability to identify and capitalize on investment opportunities. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with investee companies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the development of strategic investment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a pipeline of potential investments through industry and market research.
  • Perform in-depth due diligence, market research on potential investment opportunities.
  • Build detailed and robust financial models.
  • Draft investment memorandums.
  • Assist in deal structuring and negotiations.
  • Monitoring the portfolio companies and maintaining relations with investee companies.
  • Ensure compliance with all necessary rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  • MBA from a top B School or Chartered Accountant.
  • 3-8 years' experience in financial modelling and investment analysis.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize, deal with frequent and unexpected changes, and work within tight timeframes.
  • Presentation skills with ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently, articulate issues and recommend solutions.
  • Basic communication skills in Tamil is desirable.
