Senior Network Engineer Position

This is an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing complex network infrastructure, with expertise in WAN, LAN, and WLAN technologies. They will also have experience working with multi-vendor networks, including Juniper, Aruba, Mist, Cradlepoint, and Cisco.

We are looking for someone who can lead and manage engineering teams, create and maintain documentation, and provide technical guidance and coaching to other engineers.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment. They will also have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and two or more technical certifications at associate or professional levels related to VZ Product portfolio areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement complex network infrastructure supporting WAN, LAN, and WLAN on a multi-vendor network.
  • Create and maintain documentation for network implementation, including change approval processes.
  • Lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance and coaching to other engineers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enable delivery of complex projects.
  • Manage deliverables on complex customer design and implementation projects.
  • Perform advanced analysis on complex incidents and act as escalation engineer for internal organizations and clients.
  • Provide fourth-level support for Operations as part of the Incident and Problem Management Process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more technical certifications at associate or professional levels related to VZ Product portfolio areas.
  • Technical knowledge and experience to Juniper JNCIP or JNCIE level with focus on WAN, LAN, and WLAN.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Aruba Central, Aruba switches, and Aruba WLAN highly beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Mist dashboard and WLAN also highly beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge and experience to Cisco CCNP or CCIE level on WAN and LAN beneficial.
  • Fluent English communication skills both written and verbal essential.
