Scientific Affairs Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Affairs Manager to drive our scientific agenda and foster relationships with key opinion leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for all scientific activities across locations and segments.
  2. Promote scientific communication through presentations, lectures, and workshops to target audiences.
  3. Organize Continuing Medical Education (CMEs) and doctor group meetings in collaboration with sales teams.
  4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest literature in the field and provide technical assessments to sales staff.
  6. Provide scientific inputs and medical support to customers.
  7. Collaborate with sales teams to build rapport with KOLs and gather feedback on scientific services.
  8. Liaise with KOLs on educational and clinically/scientifically oriented initiatives.
  9. Respond promptly and accurately to medical queries from various stakeholders.
  10. Support the sales force in providing information to physicians related to latest developments in medical research.
  11. Review promotional materials to ensure they meet legal and scientific standards.
  12. Provide product expertise to internal and external customers while maintaining integrity.
  13. Cultivate clinical research that is ethically, efficiently, and effectively conducted.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. or Masters degree in Human Genetics/Life Science or relevant studies.
  • At least 3 years of experience in diagnostics with specialized products range directly targeted to doctors/clinicians.
  • Excellent clinico-scientific communication and oration skills.
  • Strong presentation, power point, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and vocabulary.

Educational Background:

Ph.D. or Masters degree in Human Genetics/Life Science or relevant studies.
