Job Title: Actuarial Expertise Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced actuary to join our team as an Actuarial Expertise Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with analysts and consulting teams to deliver excellent and consistent experience for all our clients through detailed checking and channels of communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check all work thoroughly so that rework is minimized and quality standards are met
  • Monitor progress of colleagues to ensure that timelines are met
  • Effectively manage projects and MetriX
  • Provide regular feedback to colleagues and groom them to be competent independent workers
  • Active participation in knowledge sharing/training/process improvement initiatives and participate in testing of new tools/processes and roll outs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial Science or any subject with significant mathematical content
  • 2-5 years of actuarial experience
  • Knowledge of pension or PRM and actuarial fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of actuarial valuation tools
  • Strong EXCEL and Word skills
  • Excellent communication and good coaching skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver quality, timely and consistent results
