Lead Actuary

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Specialist to join our team.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with data, have strong analytical skills, and are passionate about the insurance industry.

• Conduct independent research, analyze, and present data as assigned
• Collaborate closely with our team and clients on general insurance actuarial projects for US markets
• Critically examine and deeply dive into actuarial projects
• Deliver excellence by deep diving into deliverables, QC, Review, and guiding teams on their day-to-day tasks and projects
• Develop roadmaps and plans for actuarial projects and ensure quality deliverables
• Prepare detailed documentation for pricing, rate indication, rate revision, rate review, valuation reports, and presentations
• Assist in learning and development of new team members
• Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the current state of affairs and problem statement
• Interact with clients regularly, understand their requirements, and transform that into a business framework, providing actuarial solutions for Pricing Non-Life
• Experience in data extraction and data manipulation in Excel, R, Python, SAS, Emblem/RADAR, ResQ
• Experience in data management and actuarial process improvements
• In-depth data analysis, identifying major trends, univariate and multi-variate analysis
• Personal and commercial lines general insurance Pricing Non-Life for US/UK/APAC Insurance markets
• Knowledge of General Insurance domain and P&C actuarial concepts is essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
