We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Analyst to join our team in the Retail Banking sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client projects, supporting clients' strategic decisions through syndicated benchmarking and market research.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with limited guidance. They will also have experience in data collection, analysis, and synthesis of qualitative and quantitative datasets, as well as the ability to interpret market and industry trends to identify patterns and extract insights.

  • End-to-end delivery of client projects
  • Interpreting market and industry trends
  • Leading client and internal meetings
  • Understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions
  • Collaborating with case teams

The Lead Analyst will take on oversight and line management responsibility for junior team members and have high-level direct client exposure, potentially reaching C-level executives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in an analytical or quantitative subject
  • 5+ years' work experience in benchmarking, research, or business analysis
  • Sector experience in financial services, consultancy, or market research preferred (retail banking experience advantageous)

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced MS Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint, and pivot tables
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, Python, Tableau, or PowerBI helpful
  • Ability to interrogate, interpret, and model data

Non-Technical Skills:

  • Engaging presentation and storytelling skills
  • Project management skills, including time management and prioritization
