System Reliability Engineer RoleAbout the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled System Reliability Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems.

This includes identifying potential system issues early, implementing preventive measures, and boosting system resilience. As a System Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining the stability and performance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automate tasks to increase speed and reduce manual effort by designing and implementing efficient automation scripts.
  • Solve complex problems at scale through root cause analysis and corrective actions, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Optimize system performance by applying programming and scripting expertise, leveraging your knowledge of Java, Python, Bash, or similar programming languages.
  • Mentor and grow peers by sharing knowledge and championing best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Stay ahead of new technologies and adapt quickly to changing environments, ensuring our systems remain cutting-edge and competitive.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (master's preferred).
  • 2-4 years of experience in operations, DevOps, or software engineering, with a strong understanding of cloud-native platforms and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, Bash, or similar programming languages, with hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong incident response and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing environments and drive innovation.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native platforms and container orchestration, including Kubernetes and Docker.
