We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Professional to join our team. This exciting role will involve leading our accounting and compliance operations in India, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and maintaining robust internal controls.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and taxation, with experience in end-to-end legal entity level accounts finalization, statutory financial statements preparation, and tax compliances. They will also possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the month and quarter-end US GAAP Close processes for a legal entity
  • Lead local statutory audits including preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with Ind-AS
  • Assess risks over accounts and areas of responsibility
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain account reconciliations consistent with GAAP and corporate accounting policies
  • Research and document company position on technical accounting issues
Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy, with mandatory CA/CPA qualification and 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, book close process, direct and indirect tax compliances
  • Experience in end-to-end legal entity level accounts finalization as per IFRS /Ind AS accounting standards
  • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, withholding tax, regular tax compliance, transfer pricing, CbyC report, GST and other tax compliances
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Ind-AS
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong analytical thinker who can identify and implement effective processes improvements
  • Proficiency with accounting software and experience with a software system – preferably experience in Oracle R12
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Technically strong with solid knowledge and experience in Direct and Indirect tax compliance including compliances related Intercompany transactions
