Job Title: Software Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the role of Software Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization.

About this Role:

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in software development, troubleshooting, and technical support. They will be responsible for resolving complex customer issues, working closely with the engineering team to develop solutions, and participating in daily scrum meetings to update the development team about ongoing escalations and their statuses.

  • Solve critical customer/field technical escalations from various departments.
  • Work alongside the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer-reported problems.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings to keep the development team informed about ongoing escalations and their progress.
  • Owning highly technical customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.
  • Develop tools and techniques to aid in Root Cause Analysis using available data and code base research.
  • Reduce time to resolve product issues by fixing them as needed after RCA.
  • Provide timely updates to issue reporting teams to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to identify and implement requirements that add value to the product.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in technical product support roles, preferably in escalations teams.
  • Strong expertise in Java technologies and software development.
  • Familiarity with database concepts, including MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS.
  • Experience working in Microservice architecture environments on AWS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work well in collaborative environments and communicate effectively.
