Java Backend Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Java Backend Engineer.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Java and demonstrating good knowledge of the language is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of web fundamentals and HTTP protocol is essential.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are a must.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience developing Java applications in an enterprise environment is required.
  • Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Dropwizard is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Node.js and JavaScript is also desirable.
  • Proven experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, and web service testing is a plus.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery environments is also a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of distributed systems is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing responsive web applications using best engineering practices.
  • Performing software development, writing code, conducting code reviews, and testing.
  • Developing a deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms.
  • Managing time and working independently and collaboratively.
  • Working closely with product managers and engineers to implement solutions.
