Key Mainframe Z/OS Administration Roles

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator to support our Mainframe Z/OS environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of z/OS by performing regular system maintenance, software upgrades, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Configuring and managing user access, security, and resource allocation within the z/OS environment.
Mainframe Storage Management Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing IBM Mainframe Storage Servers, including EMC and DLM. They will be responsible for:

  • Storage configuration and setup, including I/O configuration changes and implementing storage policies.
  • Tape library management and DFSMS usage to ensure optimal storage capacity utilization.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of z/OS operating systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with ISV products and their integration with z/OS.
  • Experience with WLM, CFRM, SA, and TWS tools.
  • L2 profile with Mainframe OS Administrator or Mainframe Storage Administrator certification.
