Job Title: Director of Academic Excellence

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned academic leader with a strong track record of success in higher education. The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Psychology (Clinical / Organizational / Applied Psychology or allied areas) and have a minimum of 8+ years of teaching and research experience.


  • Provide academic and strategic leadership to the department, driving growth and innovation.
  • Develop and implement curriculum aligned with University/Regulatory norms, ensuring excellence in academic delivery.
  • Mentor and develop faculty members, guiding PG/PhD research and publications.
  • Oversee teaching, assessments, timetable, and student performance, ensuring high standards of academic integrity.
  • Lead accreditation, compliance, and departmental documentation, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Support student mentoring, counselling, and overall development, providing a holistic approach to student success.
  • Manage departmental resources, budgeting, and infrastructure, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Represent the department in inspections, academic council, and institutional committees, promoting the department's reputation.
