About this role

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle database professional to join our team. As a Senior Oracle DBA Consultant, you will play a crucial part in the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multiple Oracle databases.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Administering, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting Oracle databases in production, development, and QA environments.
  • Performing installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
  • Optimizing database performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and advanced tuning techniques.
  • Managing high availability and disaster recovery configurations.
  • Implementing robust backup/recovery strategies.
  • Collaborating with SAP Basis teams to support SAP systems using Oracle.
  • Ensuring database compliance with security, audit, and regulatory standards.
  • Participating in capacity planning, infrastructure scaling, and cloud database strategy.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in large-scale, enterprise-grade environments.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
  • Experience in both on-prem and cloud-based Oracle DB setups.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
