Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct real-time monitoring of servers, network devices, applications, jobs, and services using various tools (e.g., JP1, Solarwinds, Nagios, Zabbix, SCOM, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, OpdRamp)
  2. Identify, acknowledge, and log alerts, events, and anomalies
  3. Escalate incidents to L1/L2 support teams based on defined SOPs and severity
  4. Perform basic health checks and validations as per runbooks
  5. Track and update incident tickets in ITSM tools
  6. Perform initial triage of alerts (e.g., service restarts, disk clean-up commands if permitted)
  7. Document incidents, actions taken, and resolution/escalation steps
  8. Communicate with on-call engineers and shift leads for follow-up or escalations
  9. Ensure monitoring dashboards and tools are operational and report any issues
  10. Provide shift-wise handover updates and contribute to incident reviews

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, OS, networks, applications)
  • Hands-on experience in monitoring tools and ticketing systems
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow SOPs
  • Ability to work 24/7 rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Required candidates must work from the office
  • Meticulous and able to work independently, meeting tight deadlines

Qualification: Exposure to ITIL process (incident, event, change, management) certification in basic IT/networking (CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, CCNA IS A+)

Experience: 3+ years' experience in IT monitoring or helpdesk roles with mandatory skills like monitoring tools & network operation center
