As a Billing and Invoicing Specialist at Odisha Job Consultancy, you will play a key part in managing the billing and invoicing process efficiently. Your role will involve a strong understanding of billing procedures, attention to detail, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Billing and Invoicing:
    • Generate accurate and timely invoices for sales transactions.
    • Verify and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accurate billing.
  • Order Processing:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to gather necessary information for invoicing.
    • Ensure timely processing of customer orders and maintain order records.
  • Payment Processing:
    • Monitor and track customer payments.
    • Follow up on overdue payments and resolve any billing discrepancies.
  • Customer Communication:
    • Address customer inquiries related to billing and invoicing.
    • Maintain a positive and professional relationship with customers.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain organized and up-to-date billing documentation.
    • Prepare reports on billing activities as required.
  • Compliance:
    • Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 0-6 months of experience in billing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proficient in using billing software and Microsoft Office applications.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
