Key Buying and Merchandising Position

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our home decor category as a buying and merchandising manager.

Job Summary:
  • This is a critical role that involves strategic planning, vendor management, and inventory control to drive sales growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute seasonal and category-wise buying plans to meet customer demands.
  • Analyze sales trends and forecast demand for efficient stock planning.
  • Manage vendor relationships, payments, logistics, returns, and damages.
  • Conduct market research to curate relevant product assortments.
  • Coordinate with stores and warehouses for stock audits, replenishment, and inventory flow.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on product launches and campaigns.
Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of experience in buying and merchandising, preferably in the home decor or furniture industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel and inventory systems (SAP, ERP, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with retail formats and B2C e-commerce preferred.
