Cloud Security Engineer Role

ValueMomentum seeks a seasoned Cloud Security Engineer to develop and implement cloud-based security solutions. This role requires expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture.

The ideal candidate will have experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing AWS services. As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy secure Amazon AWS based cloud solutions using a broad range of AWS services.
  • Implement identity and access management (IAM) controls to manage user and system access securely.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and developers to create security solutions for cloud environments.
  • Monitor cloud environments for suspicious activities and threats.
  • Automate cloud security processes using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, network, and software development teams to promote secure cloud practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer with a strong focus on AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
