Job Title: Specialist, Data Operations

The Role:

As a Data Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in collecting and processing data from various sources to support business goals.

  • Work closely with Managed Investment teams, Level 1 And CSM teams, to ensure timely, accurate, and complete data delivery.
  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to identify and resolve data-related issues.
  • Build relationships with Asset Management companies, insurance companies, and other data vendors to secure high-quality data feeds.
  • Partner with quality assurance, products, and technical departments to resolve client data issues efficiently.
  • Contribute to the Center of Excellence initiative focused on cost reduction, global data collection platform consolidation, and database integration projects.
  • Set and achieve SMART goals under the guidance of your team lead.
  • Continuously improve data collection and quality assurance processes using Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools. Identify areas for improvement and propose enhancements to optimize system functionality, process efficiency, and data quality.
  • Participate in data-driven projects such as industry research, market expansion, process certification, new product development support, and more.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance/business with a minimum 60% average in the final year, and experience working with fund investment data.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with advanced users preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in similar roles or profiles aligned to managing client expectations.
  • Ability to work independently, think critically, and adapt to changing priorities.
