Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to spearhead the implementation of infrastructure via code and provide strategic advice on Azure technology advancements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy infrastructure using code and provide expert guidance on Azure technology advancements.
  • Integrate and automate standardized Azure deployments using orchestration tools like Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Azure ARM templates.
  • Serve as an escalation point for level three Azure-related issues, offering technical support, fault resolution, and guidance to operational teams.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Maintain and deliver comprehensive documentation for design, development, build, and deployment methodologies, ensuring proper source control and management.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to support teams and lead security hardening and testing efforts.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field with relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience working as a Data Engineer on Azure Cloud.
  • Good knowledge of Pyspark, Azure Data Factory, and public cloud environments.
  • Significant experience supporting, designing, and developing public cloud solutions via Infrastructure as Code.
  • Extensive DevOps experience and ability to communicate effectively with diverse team members.
  • Demonstrated experience in security hardening and testing, creating accurate documentation, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
