Job Overview:

Ensono Technologies LLP is seeking a seasoned Senior Backup Engineer to lead the administration of TSM and Cobalt Iron platforms, ensuring seamless backup and recovery services for our banking sector client.

A competitive salary of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum reflects the expertise required in this role, including proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems, script development, and process improvement.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Administer TSM and Cobalt Iron in a mixed environment of Unix, Linux, and Windows servers
  • Bulk and deploy backup infrastructure, including managing backup repositories
  • Demonstrate exceptional troubleshooting skills for backup, tape, and storage issues
  • Proficiently manage critical issues within the backup infrastructure, liaising across multiple technical towers as appropriate

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in TSM administration
  • Preferred 4 years of experience in Cobalt Iron administration
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in backup and recovery operations
  • Strong understanding of ITSM processes and ability to provide detailed documentation of operational procedures
