Job Description

  • A challenging role for a skilled frontend engineer to design, develop and deploy scalable and secure web services.

Key Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of technical experience in financial services industry is preferred.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, mentor fellow engineers, demonstrate technical expertise and solve complex problems.
  • Lead the implementation of robust, highly available, scalable and secure web services.
  • Apply experience and innovation to generate creative ideas for emerging business needs.
  • Hands-on experience in programming languages such as React, Redux, GraphQL.
  • Hands-on experience in building, deploying applications using CI & CD tools.
  • Experience in cloud-based solution design, configuration and development with any Cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in messaging or event-driven systems.
  • Experience with databases: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Couchbase, Cassandra, AWS DynamoDB or other NoSQL technologies.
  • Experience in Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with Source Control Tools – Github or BitBucket.

Desired Skills:

  • Hands-on experience on React JS, Redux, GraphQL, BFF.
  • Building large-scale distributed systems that can handle large amounts of load.
  • Familiarity with caching techniques (Redis, Hazlecast, Aerospike).
  • Feature toggle knowledge.
  • Adobe Analytics expertise.
