Job Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned risk management expert to join our organization as an Internal Auditor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment methodologies, and audit software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop comprehensive audit plans tailored to the specific needs of each engagement, ensuring timely resolution and closure of identified findings.
  • Collaborate with management to implement corrective actions and improvements based on audit recommendations, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide support and guidance to colleagues within the Internal Audit team and across the organization on risk management and control-related matters.
  • Participate in special projects, investigations, or initiatives as assigned by the Head of Internal Audit.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least twelve months of progressive internal audit experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of internal audit principles, risk management concepts, and audit methodologies.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex audit findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in audit software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and patterns.
  • A high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional standards of ethics.
