Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team in Hyderabad. This is a full-time on-site role that involves day-to-day tasks such as database administration, replication, troubleshooting, and database security.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in database concepts and administration, with experience working with Oracle database software. They should be able to install, configure, and upgrade the software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Database Administration

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups and recovery procedures

Database Security

  • Implement and maintain robust database security measures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Performance Tuning

  • Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks
  • Tune SQL queries and configure database parameters

Troubleshooting

  • Identify and resolve complex database issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot performance problems, data corruption, and system failures

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Oracle DBA Experience: Freshers or experienced candidates with basic knowledge of Oracle database administration can apply
  • Understanding of Oracle database architecture

Technical Skills

  • Oracle Database: Experience with Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • SQL and PL/SQL: Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with the ability to write efficient and effective database code
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager: Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM), including configuration, management, and monitoring of database environments
