Job Title: Financial Transactions Coordinator

We seek a diligent and organized individual to manage financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. This role requires expertise in maintaining accurate financial records, executing diverse bookkeeping tasks, and supporting senior accountants in preparing tax returns.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of establishing best practices in Accounting and operate with a profound understanding of the intricacies of the accounting process. They should be skilled in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and the MS Office Suite; basic Excel skills are sufficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day financial transactions under supervision, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, entries, and adjustments.
  • Help with reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
  • Prepare and process basic financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Provide assistance in preparing financial summaries and reports as needed.
  • Support monitoring and tracking expenses, budgets, and cash flow.
  • Assist senior accountants in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Provide basic support during audits and financial reviews by gathering requested documents.
  • Learn and stay updated with relevant accounting standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of minimum experience in bookkeeping, and related internships is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and the MS Office Suite; basic Excel skills are sufficient.
  • Basic accounting principles and practices; willingness to learn and grow in the field.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
