Senior Cloud Operations Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Operations Specialist to oversee the reliability and performance of our cloud-based systems. This pivotal role demands a comprehensive understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), and microservices architecture.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable systems architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance issues, and developing and maintaining monitoring tools to ensure system uptime and responsiveness.

This position involves working closely with development teams to implement changes and improvements, performing capacity planning and optimization to meet business needs, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the organization.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • No less than 5 years of experience in Cloud Operations or Site Reliability Engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, distributed systems, and containerization
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, and/or Spinnaker
  • Experience with software engineering and development languages such as .NET, Go, Python, C++, Ruby, or Java
