Job Title: Cloud Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting cloud deployments, systems, and services to ensure high levels of availability, redundancy, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted security advisor in your assigned vertical, participating in high-value customer engagement.
  • Build, deploy, and manage Virtual Machines, PaaS services such as Analytics, and automation in the Azure Cloud environment.
  • Lead and act as an SME for Azure platforms (IaaS, Intune/Autopilot, etc.) within the IT operations team.
  • Design, write, and deliver scripts (JSON, PowerShell, Perl, Python) and automation code to improve the availability, scalability, reliability, and efficiency of On-prem, Azure Cloud, and application integration platforms.
  • Prevent problem recurrence through repeatable automated processing.
  • Review current toolsets and unlock capabilities not leveraged by the IT Dept.
  • Assist in scoping and deployment of configuration management tools such as CMDB, Ansible, Puppet, etc., to improve efficiency and enhance the end-user experience.
  • Participate in process improvement discussions, identify bottlenecks/challenges, and provide technical insight.
  • Provide guidance and build documentation around the overall architecture and operations of technology.
  • Take ownership of all assigned tasks, projects, and drive to resolution; researching and escalating to the vendor, as necessary.

Additionally, the Cloud Support Specialist will be responsible for managing, supporting, and enhancing Voice Platforms; MS Teams and Cisco UC suite of tools (UCCX/CUCM).

Qualified candidates will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of cloud technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Experience with performing backups, upgrading, performance tuning, monitoring, alerting, deployments, and disaster recovery within the Azure cloud environment.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as JSON, PowerShell, Perl, and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure platforms (IaaS, Intune/Autopilot, etc.) and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
