Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality backend services using FastAPI and Django. As a key member of our engineering team, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that meet the needs of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asynchronous programming and Python internals, as well as experience with database design and server optimization. They should also be proficient in monitoring and debugging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

In this role, you will work closely with our frontend teams to ensure seamless integration of backend services. You will also collaborate with other engineers to design and implement efficient solutions to complex problems.

Requirements
  1. 3+ years of professional backend development experience with FastAPI and Django.
  2. Proven experience building and scaling microservices architecture.
  3. Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and Python internals.
  4. Deep understanding of database design including when to use relational vs. non-relational DBs.
  5. Hands-on experience in server optimization performance tuning and profiling.
  6. Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools e.g. Prometheus Grafana Sentry ELK etc.
  7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  8. Willingness to occasionally contribute to frontend development.
  9. Must be a power user of Cursor/Claude Code or any other AI code helper.
  10. Willingness to learn building RAG and AI Agentic Solutions.
