About the Role

As a senior game programmer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of our games. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing complex gameplay systems, mechanics, and features using Unreal Engine.

  • Develop cutting-edge gameplay systems that meet project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Work closely with game designers, artists, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment with project vision.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to resolve complex technical challenges and optimize game performance.
  • Mentor junior developers to foster their growth and development in Unreal Engine and game development best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a senior Unreal Game Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine and its core systems, Blueprints, and C++ programming.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills

Preferred skills include:

  • Experience shipping at least one title on PC, console, or mobile platforms using Unreal Engine, with active involvement for more than 6 months.
  • Version control system expertise (Perforce).
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and passion for delivering high-quality games.
