Senior Cyber Security Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cyber security professional to join our organization.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in network security, with expertise in design, build, and management of security infrastructure for IT systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in change management and disaster response, and will apply policies and standards to all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage firewall infrastructure and ensure seamless operation
  • Design, build, and manage security infrastructure for IT systems
  • Install hardware, configure firewalls, set up virtual private networks (VPNs), and perform upgrades
  • Engage with clients, relaying information about the project and troubleshooting issues discovered
  • Apply policies and standards to all projects

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of experience in Cyber Security engineering
  • Good understanding of basic routing and switching concepts
  • Expertise in remote infrastructure management for networks
  • Hands-on experience in configuration and troubleshooting of firewalls, or other network security technologies
  • Perform day-to-day administration, management, monitoring, and troubleshooting of firewalls
  • Good knowledge of software upgrades and strategies
  • Hands-on experience in configuring URL filtering, file blocking, and security profiles in firewalls
  • Review threat logs for intrusions and compromises and provide solutions
  • Good knowledge of authentication methods like radius & tacacs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with firewall technologies
  • Knowledge of cloud-based security platforms
  • Understanding of security frameworks and compliance regulations
