Job Summary

BMC Software, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled TSOM Consultant to join our Professional Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing expert-level support and guidance on BMC products, including BHOM and TSOM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in teams to deliver required outcomes and produce additional business with BMC clients.
  • Provide L2/L3 operational support on BHOM and TSOM, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and issues.
  • Implement, customize, and configure BMC products to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain BHOM/TSOM Application platform availability and integrate BMC products with third-party applications.
  • Troubleshoot TrueSight application, customizations, and integration issues.
  • Follow ITIL standard best practices and recommend upgrades/patches and roll out of new features.
  • Assist customers in driving adoption of the monitoring solution across environments.
  • Work closely with Service Owners to review service delivery quality and focus on continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5-10 years of IT experience, with a focus on Applications Managed Services and Consulting Services.
  • Extensive experience in implementing, administering, and configuring BMC BHOM/TSOM Application Support, Administration, Integrations, and Customizations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for BHOM/TSOM applications, integrations, and customizations.
  • Experience with installing and maintaining TrueSight (TSOM) in high-distributed complex environments.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and in teams.
  • Self-starter with good decision-making skills, strong analytical skills, and a methodical approach to fault resolution.
  • Experience with Windows/UNIX/LINUX operating systems and ITIL framework is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Cloud Technologies, networking, and database concepts.
  • Well-organized with a positive attitude, ability to work in customer-facing environments, and communicate with customers, vendors, and internal groups as required.
  • Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and on-call support.
