Calibration Engineer Trainer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced calibration engineer to design, develop and conduct training programs focused on calibration techniques. The trainer will guide participants on the proper use of critical instruments in multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training on laboratory and process instrument calibration including temperature, pressure, flow meters and HPLC/GC systems.
  • Guide preventive maintenance practices to ensure instrument reliability and performance.
  • Train participants on reference standards and compliance standards across industries.
  • Develop modules on corrective action planning, deviation handling and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct hands-on workshops, simulations and assessments for real-world application.
  • Customize training programs to meet industry-specific requirements.
  • Keep content updated with the latest standards and guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in calibration techniques and methods.
  • Strong knowledge of instruments: temperature, pressure, flow, balances, HPLC/GC.
  • Preventive maintenance planning and execution expertise.
  • Reference standards and traceability proficiency.
  • Compliance documentation and regulations understanding.
  • Corrective and preventive action planning for deviations.
  • Industry experience in medical devices, pharma, biotech and automotive calibration practices.
  • Excellent communication, training and mentoring skills.
