Job Overview

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for both mobile and web applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Automation Frameworks: Create scalable and maintainable automation frameworks using Playwright or Cypress for end-to-end testing of mobile and web applications.
  • Write Clean Automation Scripts: Write clean, maintainable automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript to ensure efficient testing.
  • Implement BDD Scenarios: Implement BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin (if required) to automate testing.
  • Integrate with CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) for seamless testing.
  • Conduct API and Integration Testing: Conduct API and integration test automation using relevant tools to ensure thorough testing.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Automation Experience: A minimum of 4+ years building automation frameworks with JavaScript/TypeScript is required.
  • Mobile Automation Expertise: Hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress for end-to-end testing is essential.
  • Testing Methodologies: A strong understanding of testing methodologies: functional, regression, smoke, integration is necessary.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work in Agile teams are required.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A problem-solving mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision is essential.
