Platform Architecture Specialist

This role offers the opportunity to shape the technical foundation of our platform and drive its scalability, maintainability, and cost-efficiency.

You will be responsible for analyzing the current platform architecture, identifying bottlenecks, and developing a comprehensive architecture gap report. Additionally, you will design and implement optimal architectural patterns, including monolith vs. microservices, REST vs. event-driven, and database indexing strategies.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with DevOps to design high-availability infrastructure and auto-scaling environments on AWS. You will also own CI/CD pipelines and schema migration strategies, ensuring zero-downtime deployments and seamless rollbacks.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in an architecture or senior technical leadership role. They will possess strong full-stack expertise with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and advanced proficiency in AWS, including EC2, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudFront, and Cognito.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document the current platform architecture; identify bottlenecks and produce a formal Architecture Gap Report.
  • Design and implement optimal architectural patterns.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to design high-availability infrastructure and auto-scaling environments on AWS.
  • Owning CI/CD pipelines and schema migration strategies.
