About the Job

The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and innovation. They will contribute to academic leadership and institutional development in line with industry standards.

  • Teaching & Learning
  • Deliver lectures, practicals, and tutorials at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels in core areas of Pharmacy.
  • Mentor students through academic advising, project guidance, internships, and placements.
  • Develop innovative pedagogy, e-learning content, and laboratory resources.
  • Ensure curriculum compliance with relevant guidelines.
  • Research & Innovation
  • Conduct independent and collaborative research in cutting-edge areas of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • Publish high-quality research papers in indexed journals.
  • File patents and contribute to technology transfer.
  • Attract funded projects from government and industry sponsors.
  • Supervise M.Pharm and Ph.D. research scholars.
  • Institutional & Administrative Contributions
  • Participate in academic planning, accreditation processes, and departmental committees.
  • Support collaborations with industry, hospitals, and international institutions.
  • Contribute to consultancy, extension, and community engagement activities.
  • Provide leadership in organizing workshops, conferences, and student development programs.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Associate Professor (Pharmacy)
  • Qualification: Ph.D. in Pharmacy or allied specialization with first class at Bachelor's or Master's level.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience, with at least 3 years as Assistant Professor.
  • Research Profile: Minimum 5-8 publications in SCI/Scopus/UGC-Care indexed journals.
  • Professor (Pharmacy)
  • Qualification: Ph.D. in Pharmacy or allied specialization with first class at Bachelor's or Master's level.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, with 5 years as Associate Professor.
  • Research Profile: Minimum 10-15 quality publications in indexed journals.
