We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our team of engineers.

The role involves working as a front-end software developer using various web technologies such as HTML5/CSS3, Native JavaScript or AngularJS/Angular/ReactJS and other web server technologies.

As a contributing member of our team, you will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions that meet requirements and promote the re-use of software components to facilitate ease of support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing high-quality software that meets functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Diagnosing, isolating, and implementing remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements in engineering practices.
  • Utilizing software-based system maintenance and tracking tools.
  • Providing input and technical content for technical documentation, user help materials, and customer training.
  • Conducting unit tests, tracking problems, and implementing changes to ensure adherence to test plans.
  • Implementing software mechanisms to improve code stability, performance, and reusability.
  • Participating in and leading code review sessions.
  • Creating high-fidelity estimates of work efforts.
  • Applying good debugging and troubleshooting techniques to understand and resolve defects found in software.
  • Creating high-quality documentation as required, like functional specifications, component test specifications, and integration test specifications.

Basic qualifications include 3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, strong web development skills using the mentioned technologies, and strong understanding of software development and quality assurance best practices.

Preferred qualifications include experience with designer specialty retail and food & drug POS solutions, experience with POS and self-checkout integrations, and experience working on one of the cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google).
