Guidewire Technical Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with extensive experience in Guidewire development, particularly with EdgeAPI and portal technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining various business applications leveraging Guidewire EdgeAPI.

Main Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining Guidewire EdgeAPI to facilitate seamless integration between Guidewire applications (like PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter) and EnterpriseEngage (ProducerEngage, CustomerEngage, etc.).
  • Extending data models, creating GOSU components, plugins, handlers, annotations, and validations.
  • Hands-on work with front-end technologies like ReactJS and GW Jutro.
  • Customizing and extending Guidewire APIs by creating new endpoints or modifying existing ones to meet specific business requirements.
  • Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implementing best practices for EdgeAPI and performance optimization.
  • Testing, debugging, and troubleshooting issues related to EdgeAPI functionality.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies regarding data security and privacy.
  • Documenting EdgeAPI specifications and providing training/support to other development teams as needed.
  • Staying current with Guidewire updates, API enhancements, and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining business applications leveraging Guidewire EdgeAPI.
  • Expertise in the Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting, UI, Data Model, ReactJS).
  • Experience with SQL, H2 databases, and SCM tools like GIT.
  • Skilled in web services (SOAP/REST), XML, JSON.
  • Understanding of Guidewire core products and integration points.
