Guidewire Software Expert

We are seeking a seasoned software professional to contribute to and direct the efforts of our development teams.
About the RoleIn this position, you will work collaboratively with Guidewire developers throughout the software development lifecycle. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, implement, and support software components in various areas of the software stack.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a Senior Engineer contributing to and directing development teams
- Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the software stack
- Analyze and resolve complex software issues, developing practical solutions
- Stay current on new technologies, evaluate, and make recommendations when necessary
- Assist in task planning, estimation, and scheduling
- Mentor junior engineers and provide opportunities for skill/knowledge development
- Determine process improvements and best practices, developing new processes when needed
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and management
The following requirements must be met:
- At least 3-7 years of IT experience with a minimum of 3+ years in Guidewire Configuration development
- Experience working with Guidewire products such as PolicyCenter
- Familiarity with Gosu Queries, PCF, RuleSets, Validations, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proficiency in Insurance domain knowledge, specifically commercial and personal lines of business
