Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Data Science Product team at Ficus E Logic Pvt Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in solving complex business challenges through the development and implementation of predictive models and data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Innovation:

  • Conduct thorough research on topics related to business needs to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Generate creative ideas for features and models to solve challenges within our adserver system.

Model Development:

  • Build and fine-tune machine learning models, including logistic regression, decision trees, neural networks, and NLP models, to ensure high accuracy and performance.

Collaboration:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into core business applications, ensuring seamless implementation and alignment with business goals.

Data Preparation:

  • Prepare and preprocess data from diverse databases for model training, including writing effective database queries to extract, transform, and load data.

Programming and Algorithms:

  • Utilize strong programming skills in Python and Java, along with proficiency in data structures and algorithms, to develop efficient and scalable models.

Business Acumen:

  • Understand the business implications of data science products, ensuring that models address both technical challenges and broader business objectives.

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Manage the full product development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring that products meet user needs and business goals.

User-Centered Design:

  • Demonstrate strong user empathy, understanding user pain points and using this knowledge to guide product development.

Communication:

  • Effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project.

Market Research and A/B Testing:

  • Analyze market trends and customer behavior to inform product development.
  • Implement A/B testing to evaluate and iterate on product changes based on data.
