Job opportunity: Cloud Infrastructure Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage our cloud infrastructure for high-traffic workloads.

The role is a blend of individual contribution and team leadership, focusing on building, deploying, and maintaining functional applications across enterprise scales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, manage, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure for high-traffic workloads.

• Drive automation of tasks and implement infrastructure services to improve efficiency.

• Identify and rectify potential risks within the infrastructure, network, or security.

• Research, set up, test, and implement technologies and solutions to improve performance, reliability, availability, security, and efficiency of infrastructure on AWS.

• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis, working closely with developers to implement corrective/preventive actions during and after an incident.

• Design software architecture for maintaining High Availability and Fault Tolerance.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and related cluster components such as logging, metrics, security, RBAC, autoscaling, etc.
  • Experience with AWS, including at least 1 year in a Lead DevOps role, with expertise in various AWS technologies like EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, EKS, ECS, Security Hub, DynamoDB, Secret Manager, and Guard Duty.
  • Expertise in DevOps technologies like Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Bash Scripting, CI/CD, etc.
  • Good programming experience with at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience with automating, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus preferred).
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices (AWS Well-Architected Framework).
  • Ability to work in an agile environment with a globally-distributed team.
