System Patch Expert

As a System Patch Expert, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the process of solving their digital challenges. This involves utilizing your expertise in patch management, PowerShell scripting, MECM, SCCM, and Qualys tool to create customized remediation scripts and ensure systems meet patch compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize patches based on criticality, including zero-day vulnerabilities and past-due updates.
  • Validate successful patch deployments and ensure systems meet patch compliance standards.
  • Experience in deployment of security patches, maintaining compliance, and mitigating vulnerabilities using tools like MECM/SCCM (Primary).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience over MECM (for patching/remediation activities) and strong troubleshooting skills (OS/paching related issues).
  • Experience with BigFix can be considered as an add-on.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience (6 years relevant)
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting
  • Hands-on experience with MECM and SCCM
  • Experience with Qualys tool

Work Mode: Hybrid Mode

Job Type: Contract to hire (C2H)

Notice Period: Immediate joiners are preferred.

The ideal candidate is someone who has experience with patch management, system administration, and problem-solving. A strong understanding of IT security principles and procedures is also necessary. The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively in a team environment are essential qualities for this position.
