Job Description

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to architect and develop a robust financial data platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a proven track record of designing and implementing big data systems using technologies like Apache Spark and Hive.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a scalable and compliant platform that operates with speed, efficiency, and quality. They will work closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps, manage individual projects, prioritize deadlines, and deliverables. Additionally, they will mentor and train team members on design techniques and coding standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience in architecting big data systems using technologies like Apache Spark and Hive
  • Ability to uplevel junior engineers via processes and setting high standards
  • Knowledge of high-quality code and software engineering processes
  • Passion for building an open financial system that brings the world together
  • Experience working with NetSuite APIs, developing financial tools, and transforming business/product data to accounting/financial domains
