Job Title: Senior Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of various electronics components and systems.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, testing and qualifying electrical products and systems. They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions.

  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods.
  • Work on obsolescence activities with replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with documentation.
  • End-to-end ownership: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions.
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that will develop into detailed drawings to manufacture those concepts.
  • Participate in design reviews to present the design throughout the different phases of design and development.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Masters degree is preferred with 1 year of experience.
  • Must be comfortable working with US-based timings.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good understanding of electronics components, schematics/system interconnect.
  • Ability to select and recommend components depending upon application and circuit requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Critical/system-level thinking.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:

The following skills would be an asset:

  • Exposure to working on part lifecycle management, change orders using any PLM system.
  • Experience in working on electronic components obsolescence.
  • Understanding of PCB and components.
  • Hands-on experience of testing electronics components - bench-level test and system-level test.
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software.
