Electrical/Electronics Engineer

Orbit & Skyline is looking forward to onboarding a highly skilled "Electrical/Electronics Engineer" with a good understanding of various electronics/electrical components. The candidate will be part of a team assisting in the delivery of efficient engineering support and solutions to customers while also contributing to the development of the Indian semiconductor ecosystem.

• Work on obsolescence activities with to qualify replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with the documentation
• End-to-end ownership: Work collaboratively with the cross-functional team comprising mechanical, software, system and process engineering (in different geographies) to develop and qualify engineering solutions
• Rapidly generate design concepts that will develop into detailed drawings to manufacture those concepts
• Participate in design reviews to present the design throughout the different phases of design and development.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics with experience of 3-5 years.
• Master's degree is preferred with 1 year of experience.
• Must be comfortable working with US-based timings.

Mandatory Skills:

• Must have a good understanding of the electronics components and must be able to select and recommend components depending upon application and circuit requirements.
• Understanding of electronics components, schematics/system interconnect.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Critical/system-level thinking.
• Good project management skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to have:

• Exposure to working on part lifecycle management, change orders using any PLM system
• Experience in working on electronic components obsolescence
• Understanding on PCB and components
• Hands-on experience of testing electronics components- bench-level test and system-level test
• Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software
