Loan Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our lending services team as a Loan Operations Specialist.

  • Job Purpose:

  • Review and verify commercial loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Identify key terms within loan documents, including credit agreements and notes, and translate them into the ACBS system of record.

  • Enter loan details into the ACBS system of record, covering borrower entities, guarantors, interest rates, repayment terms, accruals, collateral, and other relevant information.

  • Analyze and interpret complex loan structures and documents, including large syndicated transactions.

  • Collaborate with clients on all servicing-related activities for our direct, bilateral, and syndicated loan portfolios.

  • Monitor and perform ACBS system inputs as needed for timely administration of rate options, borrowing base adjustments, revolver schedule reductions, and facility utilization changes.

  • Collaborate with the agent bank to balance and resolve portfolio issues.

  • Respond to daily research and maintenance requests from lending officers and clients, performing necessary analysis and system input.

  • Review and balance daily reconciliation reports for general ledger activity tied to loan servicing.

  • Analyze exception reports, determining necessary monetary and system maintenance required for resolution.

  • Perform research and analyze loan documentation as part of research requests.

  • Provide client support for loan balance inquiries, rate information, loan statement questions, advance and payment inquiries.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Commercial Loan Documentation:

  • Understanding of commercial loan documentation, including credit agreements and notes.

  • Ability to review and verify loan documents for accuracy and compliance.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex loan structures and documents.

  • Ability to identify key terms and translate them into the ACBS system of record.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and colleagues.

  • Ability to provide client support and respond to research and maintenance requests.
