Cloud Data Architect Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Information Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong core skillset in implementing cloud data pipelines using AWS Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and Fivetran.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on projects involving AWS Databricks and Python, as well as AWS Native data Architecture and services like S3, Lambda, Glue, and EMR. They will also have experience with handling the AWS Cloud platform and be familiar with data migration from big data to AWS Cloud on S3, Snowflake, and Redshift.

The responsibilities of this role include identifying and defining foundational business data domain elements, collaborating with data product and stewards to capture data definitions, driving data source lineage reports, and recommending data extraction and replication patterns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing cloud data pipelines using AWS Databricks, Snowflake, and Python.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop data strategies and drive business outcomes.
  • Developing and maintaining data governance policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across all data assets.
  • Providing data analysis and insights to support business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Databricks, especially S3 and Snowflake, and Python.
  • Experience with Shell scripting.
  • Exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant experience with ETL methods and retrieving data from dimensional data models and data warehouses.
  • Strong experience with relational databases and data access methods, especially SQL.
  • Excellent collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
